SHAPING NEW BRAUNFELS
By CAROL BISSETT
Step into the heart of New Braunfels history with Shaping New Braunfels by Carol Bissett, a heartwarming and hilarious new play set in a modern-day third-grade classroom at Seele Elementary. When the ghost of legendary educator Hermann Seele appears during a local history lesson, two students are swept into an unforgettable journey through the stories and personalities that helped shape the town we know and love. Featuring beloved New Braunfels icons like Naegelin’s Bakery, Wurstfest, and Schlitterbahn, this charming production brings local legends to life with humor, nostalgia, and community spirit. Filled with colorful characters, fascinating true stories, and plenty of laughs for audiences of all ages, Shaping New Braunfels is a joyful celebration of the people, traditions, and heritage that continue to define our city.
